Shakira L. Johnson
Shakira is an Associate in the Firm’s Los Angeles office. Her practice focuses on litigation in state and federal court, representing businesses of all sizes, insurers and their insureds. Shakira is adept at case analysis and strategic planning to posture cases for early resolution. She is also well-versed at taking and defending depositions, site inspections, witness interviews, preparing and arguing motions, and appearing at hearings and mediations. Shakira’s litigation experience includes high-exposure and complex matters in products liability, aviation, employment, wrongful death/personal injury, and civil rights. Shakira also assists Firm clients with responding to third-party subpoenas and requests for information in civil and criminal matters.
Before joining Victor Rane, Shakira was a Senior Associate at a defense law firm where she primarily focused on employment law, general liability, and public entity representation. Shakira is licensed to practice law in California and Wisconsin.
In her spare time, Shakira enjoys traveling, wine tasting, photography, and spending time with her family and friends.
