
Debleena Mitra
Debleena is an Associate resident in the Firm’s Philadelphia office.
Her practice focuses on commercial, business, and products liability litigation for domestic and international clients ranging from individual entrepreneurs to small companies to large multi-national corporations. These clients in the aviation industry include aircraft manufacturers, engine manufacturers, aircraft component manufacturers, airlines, domestic and foreign aircraft operators, airports, and insurers.
She previously gained extensive litigation experience, including hands on courtroom experience, while working as an Assistant District Attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office where she specialized in post-conviction matters. Before that, she interned at the New York County District Attorney’s Economic Crimes Unit and at the US Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division.
Debleena earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Smith College and previously studied and worked in the art world. Years later, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law. In law school, Debleena was an Associate Editor on the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law and a teaching assistant for the first-year legal writing program. In her free time Debleena enjoys reading, traveling, and visiting the latest museum exhibition.
