
Alan D. Mattioni
Alan has over two decades of experience in aviation litigation, including more than 15 years at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Aviation, Space & Admiralty Litigation Section where he served as Senior Aviation Counsel. He has successfully defended the government in complex, high-profile aviation cases nationwide and is known for his technical fluency, trial skill, creativity, dedication, and strategic judgment. Alan is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey state bars and works out of the firm’s Philadelphia office.
A licensed commercial pilot with multiengine and instrument ratings, Alan adds depth and broad experience to Victor Rane’s aviation litigation and trial capabilities, combining seasoned legal insight with operational aviation experience.
